Age of empires win98

Sound effects, on the other hand, are weak, repetitive, and quickly grow annoying. There are quite a few nice tracks in the game, which is a pleasant change from the usual repetitiveness of the genre. The music is solid enough, with tribal beats alongside more 'classical' music. Sound is definitely one of Age of Empires' weak points. The game has FMV, but it is a number of years old, and the video is grainy and hard to really see. It seemed sort of incongruous carrying huge slabs of meat off after killing a crocodile. One graphical oddity that bothered me was the fact that 'unit carrying meat' looked the same. The various units and buildings look prerendered, like most games of the sort.

The graphics are fairly well detailed, even by today's standards, and the game even supports changing resolutions up to 1024x768. Age of Empires makes use of the isometric semi-3D viewpoint that we all know and love.
